Who says principals are scary?
August 24, 2016
What a treasure! Principal O'Brien came to read to us as a reward for having a great first week of school. She read The Book With No Pictures ... WAIT WHAT?! A book with NO PICTURES?! Trust us, it is anything but boring. If you don't believe me, just ask your little pirate and read it to them, if you dare!

Daily 5 Is up and running
August 22, 2016
The Daily 5 consists of five activities we're committed to doing everyday. During the Daily 5, we Read to Self, Listen to Reading, Read to Someone, Work on Writing, and Work on Words. It's a great time to allow the students to be creative while still applying our skills we've learned in class. Ask your pirate what their favorite is!

Little Hands Make A Big Difference
Staying true to our mission, we are dedicated to being engaged in the community and helping others. It may look like just a couple pieces of trash on the ground but we understand the bigger picture. We are excited about starting the school-wide recycling program and can't wait to show that little hands make a BIG difference!
